Prime Minister Miloš Vučević visited the Hilandar Monastery, which is celebrating the monastery feast of the Presentation of the Most Holy Theotokos today, and on that occasion emphasised that the state of Serbia is helping to restore this monastery, which is one of the most significant Serbian sacred sites.

Vučević noted that it is a great blessing to be on the holy land of Hilandar, with monks and novices dedicated to preserving Serbian customs, faith and tradition.
He pointed out that the state is helping to restore the Hilandar Monastery and that this shows that, in addition to economic growth and progress, our spiritual renewal and return to ourselves and our own identity are equally important to us.
The Prime Minister stated that in these challenging times we desperately need the unity of the state, people and church.
As long as our Serbia follows the path of Saint Sava and is guided by the beacon on the Aegean Sea, on our Mount Athos, Serbia will be on the right path and will not go astray, Vučević concluded.
