Prime Minister Miloš Vučević today spoke with representatives of the Board of Directors of the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce about improving cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
Vučević underlined that German companies are pivotal to Serbia’s economic growth, with the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce representing an ideal platform for contacts between German, Serbian and international companies.
The Prime Minister stated that Serbia is intensively implementing reforms aimed at improving the business environment and is a leader in the region when it comes to foreign direct investment.
Vučević added that he sees room for strengthening cooperation with German companies in the area of dual education, which will provide young people with excellent training and greater prospects for employment.
The Prime Minister emphasised that dual education provides a comparative advantage in attracting foreign investment and strengthening the domestic economy.
President of the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce Milan Grujić stressed that cooperation between Serbia and Germany is developing in all areas, and is especially strengthening in the economy.
Grujić stated that German businesspeople are particularly interested in suppliers for the automotive industry, as well as in the electronics, IT and agricultural sectors.
