Significant potential for further strengthening of economic relations with UAE

At the meeting with Minister of State for Foreign Trade of the UAE Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, talks centred on boosting trade between Serbia and the UAE, which has been growing steadily in the recent period.
The ministers agreed that there is significant potential for the further strengthening of economic relations, especially in the sectors of new technologies, the food industry and clean energy.
Popović discussed cooperation in the field of industry and advanced technology with Minister Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, cooperation in the field of clean energy with Minister Suhail Al Mazrouei, while the topic of the meeting with Minister Abdullah Al Nuaimi was the deepening of bilateral relations.
During his visit to the UAE, Popović visited Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, the second-largest event dedicated to sustainable development in the UAE.
