Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić assessed during a meeting with Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Serbia Martijn Elgersma that relations between the two countries are good, but that through open dialogue, cooperation can be significantly improved in numerous areas.

According to him, full EU membership is a strategic goal for Serbia, which will implement all the necessary reform processes and be fully prepared for that step by the end of 2026, and expects the support and assistance of its European partners and friends on that path.
Đurić emphasised that Serbia remains committed to preserving peace and stability in the region.
He also informed the Ambassador about the pressures mounted on Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
