Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić met today with Chair of the European Parliament Delegation to the EU-Serbia Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee Loucas Fourlas.
Đurić informed Fourlas about the extremely difficult situation of the Serb people in Kosovo and Metohija, emphasising that the Kurti regime is attempting to make living conditions unbearable for Serbs in Serbia’s southern province.
He underlined that Priština’s unilateral actions, constant pressure and policy of intimidation of Serbs are entirely unacceptable, noting that these factors have made the situation highly complicated, which is why the Belgrade-Priština dialogue is currently being conducted only at a technical level.
The Minister highlighted the necessity of discussions on how to continue the dialogue process in a meaningful and substantive manner.
Đurić congratulated Fourlas on his election and conveyed that Serbia fully supports his work, with the aim of advancing the country’s European integration.
The Minister also expressed his gratitude to Fourlas for his support in the process of accession to the European Union, as well as for his efforts to ensure that the results achieved in the process are affirmed as effectively as possible.
