Declaration on Protection of National, Political Rights, Common Future of Serbian People adopted

Belgrade, 8 June 2024

At the joint session of the government of the Republic of Serbia and the government of Republika Srpska, the Declaration on the Protection of National and Political Rights and the Common Future of the Serbian People was unanimously adopted today.

Also, the governments of Serbia and Republika Srpska adopted a decision on the urgent preparation of a tender for the conceptual solution of the construction of memorial centers to mark the place of suffering in Donja Gradina and in Belgrade.

The exchange of signed documents between relevant ministers in the governments of Serbia and Republika Srpska took place today as part of the First All-Serbian Assembly "One Nation, one Assembly – Serbia and Srpska," in the presence of the presidents of Serbia and Republika Srpska, Aleksandar Vučić and Milorad Dodik.

The memorandum on cooperation between the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government of the Republic of Srpska was exchanged by Ministers Jelena Žarić-Kovačević and Senka Jujić.

A memorandum between the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of Republika Srpska on cooperation in the field of agrarian payments was exchanged by Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Aleksandar Martinović and Minister of Agriculture Savo Minić.

A memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Culture of Serbia and the Ministry of Education and Culture of Republika Srpska on cooperation in the field of film art and other audio-visual creativity was exchanged by Minister of Culture Nikola Selaković and Minister of Education and Culture of Republika Srpska Željka Stojičić.

The cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Family Care and Demography of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Family, Youth and Sports of Republika Srpska was exchanged by the Minister of Family Care and Demography Milica Đurđević Stamenkovski and the Minister of Family, Youth and Sports of Republika Srpska Selma Čabrić.

A memorandum on cooperation between the government of the Republic of Serbia and the government of Republika Srpska to strengthen the ties of members of the Serbian diaspora with the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Srpska was exchanged by Minister without portfolio Đorđe Milićević and Minister for European Integration and International Cooperation of Republika Srpska Zlatan Klokić.

A memorandum on the protection of common trade interests between the Ministry of Internal and External Trade of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Trade and Tourism of the Republic of Srpska was exchanged by the Minister of Internal and External Trade Tomislav Momirović and the Minister of Trade and Tourism of Republika Srpska Denis Šulić.

The contract on the donation of Dr. Slobodan Ristanović's books was exchanged by the adviser to the President of the Republic of Serbia Branka Đukić and Minister of Education and Culture of the government of the Republic of Srpska Željka Stojičić.

The exchange of documents followed the joint session of the governments of Serbia and Republika Srpska.
