Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania Luminița Odobescu agreed today in Bucharest on a series of concrete steps to enhance bilateral relations, outlining a roadmap that will enable the intensification of the two countries’ political dialogue.

At a news conference, Đurić expressed his confidence that the agreements reached will help to strengthen traffic, energy, infrastructure and economic connectivity between Serbia and Romania.
The Minister said that he informed the Romanian friends about the challenges faced by the Serb community in Kosovo and Metohija due to the unilateral and uncoordinated moves of Albin Kurti’s regime.
He reaffirmed Belgrade’s firm commitment to resolving these issues through dialogue and the implementation of existing agreements facilitated by the European Union.
Discussing the European integration process, Đurić said that Serbia is very grateful to Romania for its support and announced that by 2027, Serbia will formally complete the necessary reforms EU membership.
Odobescu told reporters following the meeting that the main goal of today’s talks was to agree on a dynamic and pragmatic approach to the political-diplomatic, economic and sectoral dialogue between the two countries.
