Minister of Family Care and Demography Milica Đurđević Stamenkovski stated today in Budapest, at a ministerial conference focusing on intergenerational collaboration for a more competitive future, that Serbia and Hungary are natural allies in fight for the preservation of the family and family values.

Presenting the projects and measures of the relevant ministry and the Government of Serbia in the area of population and demographic policy, she pointed out that Serbia is the country with the largest parental allowance in the Balkans.
On the sidelines of this meeting, the Minister also met with Turkish Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, with whom she discussed deepening the cooperation between the two countries in the field of demographic and population policy.
The officials emphasised that it is in the common interest of both countries to do everything in the future to put the family first and to make family values the most recognizable and important in society.
