Science, innovation infrastructure presented as investment potential

Begović highlighted the potential of Serbia’s scientific research and innovation infrastructure and startup ecosystem for investment and direct cooperation.
She noted that the meeting covered the possibility of Serbia hosting the world-renowned GITEX conference for new technologies and startups, as well as the Investopia conference, as part of Specialised Expo 2027 Belgrade.
According to her, organising these conferences would be a good opportunity for Serbia to position itself as a global hub for new technologies and vision for the future in 2027.
Begović emphasised Serbia could bring together top experts and successful startups from around the world, showcasing not only the country but also the entire region as a global technological innovation ecosystem.
