The Government of the Republic of Serbia, at today’s session attended by President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, declared a Day of Mourning for 18 March due to the tragedy in North Macedonia.
The government’s session, held at the Palace of Serbia, began with a moment of silence for the victims of the fire at the Pulse nightclub in Kočani, North Macedonia, where 59 people lost their lives and 155 were injured.
At today’s session, the government also adopted information on the current political and security situation in Serbia and the region.
The session was attended by government ministers, Speaker of the National Assembly of Serbia Ana Brnabić, Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces General Milan Mojsilović, Acting Police Director Dragan Vasiljević, Governor of the National Bank of Serbia Jorgovanka Tabaković, Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Petar Petković, Director of the Security Intelligence Agency Vladimir Orlić and Director of the Office for Public and Cultural Diplomacy Arnaud Guillon.
