An online system enabling the issuance of eVisas will start operating soon, Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić announced today.

Đurić and Director of the Office for Information Technologies and eGovernment Mihailo Jovanović signed a Protocol on cooperation in the field of data storage and migration, maintenance, improvement and upgrade of the visa information system.
Owing to cooperation between the Ministry and the Office, the quality of consular services offered by Serbia has been improved, Đurić said, recalling that an online visa application system and the Welcome to Serbia portal were launched in February last year.
Jovanović said that 43,961 applications for a single permit for temporary residence and work have been resolved on the portal to date.
